Product presentation

Even if the performance of the amplifier and speakers of your hi-fi is excellent, these devices can not reproduce more information than what is provided by your source.

In order to obtain better musical performance, each source in our range has been designed according to extensively researched technical solutions.

The converter MDA 503 is the ideal complement to the Drive MCD 403. However, in order to keep up with the development of digital sources, MDA 503 proposes, with an elegant design, numerous performing solutions to convert all your digital sources to analog.

The converter MDA 503 uses four dual oversampling converters, 24-bit x 384 kHz, manufactured by "Analog Devices". The converter MDA 503 can receive and select six digital audio sources, and continuously reproduce high quality performance from a CD or DVD, Freeview box, or from a computer that will become a high quality musical system. But it  will also improve the performance of some games and render even more spectacular special effects.

In order to eliminate the interaction between the digital circuit and analog circuit, we use two toroïdal transformers. They provide electric power to different, regulated and stabilized power circuits. All resistors and capacitors are of type sound-friendly.

Rather than assigning the audio output stage to a single integrated circuit, we have developed a preamplifier output with tubes, which restores unique harmonic richness.  It delivers the information contained in the disc with sophistication, thereby eliminating any risk of hearing fatigue.

MDA 503 has two analog outputs, one balanced and one unbalanced.

*The converter MDA 503 has :

-three coaxial inputs

-two optic inputs

-one AES/EBU input.

 * Optional remote control (included with MCD-403)
